About GainsGurus

GainsGurus.com was co-founded in Binghamton NY as well as Salt Lake City, Utah. Currently located in New Jersey, GainsGurus uses wall street tools and data for the main street investor. GainGurus started after realizing how incredibly limited stock market data is. The biggest mission is on helping people make independent long term investments based on data backed insight you won’t find anywhere else.

Who We are:

GainsGurus mission is simple. Its main goal is to help people answer the questions of What Stocks to Buy, when to Buy them and how to gauge risk. The main clientele is self directed retail investors who want to make their own decisions by running stocks through a series of test using data and understanding what the story is the data is telling you. Its all about story telling with data. Once you run the stocks through a series of test, you then can figure out what is a good entry point and how much exposure you should have in terms of risk.

Our Strategy

GainsGurus tries to establish itself as uniquely different from your traditional finance and investing approach. The strategy here at GainsGurus is to help clients develop winning long term strategies based on predictability. Many people are of the belief that investing is a random walk, and while this might be true in the short term, that’s not necessarily true in the long run. The data shows markets always go up over time and are up more than they are down. The strategy here at GainsGurus focuses on metrics such as Year over Year, Month over Month, and Quarter over Quarter Returns. We also look at metrics such as Number of 52 Week Highs, Volatility, How far a stock is from it’s 52 week high, what kind of streak a stock in on, positive or negative as well as performance spread indicators. Essentially we try to use data to help you predict what stocks to buy and when to buy them based on data backed strategies and much more! Don’t let your portfolio miss leg day!
